More stuff clearing before the renovation few Sundays ago. I've accumulated a number of hard disk over the years. They said it's not safe to dump this unless you drill a hole through it and I don't have a drill. Moreover, I'm also curious what is like inside.

It's moldy even. The speaker covers were already rusty when it was still work. Bad design of NEC to make them out of such material. Definitely bad for humid weather of Singapore. I remembered I noticed the first speck of rust after one month. Took it in for warranty service and they changed it and it rusted again. Total waste of time. I'm glad they are not in the business of scamming people anymore.

In the laptop bag, I found this. OK, this is useless. Going into the electronic waste recycling bin later.

Damn, the rust is bad. I tried to turn it on. Some light come on, a beep sound and nothing. OK, I need to rip the harddisk out of this too.

First, rip out the harddisk. Took me a long time, lots of sweat and changing different tips for the screwdriver before I got to this state...

Next, start unscrewing the laptop from the bottom looking for the harddisk. Nope, that's the fan. It's moldy inside too.

接下来，从笔记本电脑底部开始松开螺丝找硬盘。 不是哦，那是风扇。 里面也发霉了。

I pried off the floppy disk drive (who knows what that is?) and hmm.. that looks like a hard disk attached too.

我撬掉了软盘驱动器（Floppy Disks Drive 谁知道那是什么？）嗯...看起来像是一个硬盘在那里。

Got it off and looks more like a hard disk.

I unscrewed as much and I could until few I couldn't and pried it open.

我尽力松掉能拿走的螺丝。直到几个无法送就将它撬开。

Got 2 pieces of shiny disk out.

拿了两片闪亮的盘出来。

Chucked everything sans the shiny disks into a bag.

除了闪亮的盘，全丢进一个袋子里。

Lastly, brought it to the electronic waste recycling bin.
