Just a little something to chew on this Friday!

Looking back on historical information, we see that coffee production years can have drastically different harvest times. Production timelines can be effected by weather, and entire supply chains need to be flexible.
Our coffee plant in the office bloomed on June 14th last year. This year, it bloomed on May 18th. That's nearly a month of difference, and we can only imagine what coffee producing communities throughout the world might have to deal with when production schedules need to be moved up by an entire month. These changes have consequences for finance, logistics, and the pattern of everyday life in general.
