Backyard Speakers - Beat Battle S2:R3 entry
Yoyo beat battle enthusiasts!
I've never really made drops before so I was kinda hyped about the topic and decided do just kind of go for it.
I'm not sure whether this is considered a drop, but I think the track is pretty lit.
I started out with the plucky bell things and then made the raw saw thing thats thoughout the heavy parts. It's layered and panned which is why it sounds so huge. Put some bass on it which was nice, but the drums are kinda off meta I would say. I also don't think it would be the same with different drums so yeah.
Reminded me of an outdoor rave for some reason hence the title.

Nice clean production, cool interpretation of a drop ... not that I'm any expert on it myself, but the change-up was there, it worked. Nice photo too, seems like a great place for an outdoor festival!
Yea dude, this is dope... You nailed the "backyard" aspect of this. For some reason it does feel like it should be playing in the backyard at a bad ass kegger or something.
That'd make a bad ass video for this actually. Super dope my dude. Love your production style. Keep it up!

What an arrangement in this one o weee. Love how you slow it down around 0:22 and change tempo with such epic sounds. Got that first burst of energy at 0:49 and then WHAM you take it to a whole new level at 0:59. That bass is incredible.
And love how strong you bring that bass in at 2:26 and those sounds you bring in starting at 2:48 really enjoyed those/
Appreciate you creating this base bumping beat with multiple drops.
