Beachwednesday - Byron Bay
It´s Wednesday again and that means Beachtime!!
The main beach in Byron Bay, Australia is one of my favorite Beaches worldwide.
Es ist wieder Mittwoch und das bedeutet Beachtime !!
Der Hauptstrand in Byron Bay, Australien ist einer meiner Lieblingsstrände weltweit.
Honestly, I don´t know why but we always keep coming back to this little town on the eastcoast. Some say it is totally overrated and was much better years ago.
But the hype is still going on and I have to agree that in summertime it can get really crowded and annoying. Anyway, this is still no reason for us to stay away, the people, the beach, the waves and the atmosphere makes us always want to go back.
Ehrlich, ich weiß nicht warum, aber wir kommen immer wieder in diese kleine Stadt an der Ostküste. Einige sagen, dass es völlig überbewertet ist und vor Jahren viel besser war.
Aber der Hype geht weiter und ich muss zugeben, dass es im Sommer sehr voll und nervig wird. Wie auch immer, dies ist immer noch kein Grund für uns fern zu bleiben. Die Leute, der Strand, die Wellen und die Atmosphäre lassen uns immer wieder zurückkehren.
When I was younger and on the dole I used to have to go here to put my dole form in haha. It has changed so much since then.
Also when I did get a job on a prawn trawler for awhile we used to go up and down off Byron Bay all night. Good times.
Last time I was there 2 years ago I did not like what it had turned into. Won't say anymore.
I know what you mean...way to much tourism. I lived in Ocean Shores for a couple of weeks and just went there for surfing.
I just heard that Yamba is getting more and more attention. Maybe thats the new Byron Bay?
Hmm maybe. I know it is on an estuary so probably full of bull sharks. Tourism is going off between Gladstone and 1770 in Queensland.

haha ja totaler quatsch mit der Tüte! Mittlerweile wird es aber nicht mehr ganz so ernst genommen. Ich trink da auch mal so ein Bier, man sollte es dem Polizisten halt nicht vor die Nase halten. 😁
haha die Bierflasche im Papiersack. Bei uns in der Dom Rep auch bestens bekannt aber noch ein bisschen schlimmer:
zuerst die Flasche in einen halbhohen Papiersack, dann einen Plastick um die Flasche und noch einen zweiten, falls der erste kaputt geht. Plastikbecher gibt's gratis dazu!!!
Übrigens bei dem Ausblick und Anblick dieses Strandes erübrigt sich die Frage nach dem Warum ihr immer wieder hierher zurückkehrt. Einfach nur traumhaft.

Da brauch man sich ja über den vielen Plastikmüll nicht wundern. Wer trinkt denn Bier freiwillig aus Plastikbechern?
Is that there are whales there? (I mean the real animal, not Steemit whales ;)) I once saw a sign when passing a crossing near there.
you can see whales from the beach when it is season. I only saw whales from the beach in agnes water a few hundred kilometers further north.
