Furuneset at Rubbestadneset
Furuneset is located on Rubbestadneset and is a widely used beach on hot summer days.
Rubbestadneset is a village on Bømlo municipality where, since 1903, Wichmann produced boat engines. For more than a hundred years, motors were produced at Rubbestadnesert, but today the engine production is over. Today, however, there are several companies in the area that produce for both the ship and oil industry.
Furuneset is an idyllic place that also serves as a place to visit on a trip outside the bathing season.
Beautiful and natural. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for your appreciating comments @Introvert-dime

I completely agree with you!
Thank you for the great photos and wonderful landscapes and their fascinating description!
I was very interested to see another part of beautiful Norway, dear friend @Siggjo
Thank you for your comment about Furuneset @Singa
Very cozy bay and village! It does not look like an industrial area. Here you can not see the chimneys, gantry cranes and other industries. Very wise people, I admire the ability of your people to preserve the natural appearance of the area where they live.
Thank you, my Dear friend @Siggjo, for these wonderful and interesting photos with a detailed explanation.
Good night to you!
The industrial area is less than a thousand metre north of the beautiful area at Furuneset. Here is a link to a former post where I wrote about the diesel engine production at Rubbestadneset.

It's easy to understand that people from the industrial area like to relax in the idyllic Furuneset when they have such a beautiful area not far from the factory.
