The best island in the world.

True to its tale, El Nido is indeed one of the most beautiful islands in the world.

A year ago we went to Palawan with my colleagues because we were burned out from our jobs. Five days and 4 nights was too short for us and we would love to stay longer. Unfortunately, we didn't have the luxury of time thus we struggled to fit our hectic schedule to explore such marvelous island.

Boasting a magnificent natural beauty you can see a wide array of rock formations standing prominently surrounded with pristine and marinelife-rich beaches. There is only one word that I can describe El Nido,...paradise. If I have a chance, I would love to visit the island again. 😍😍

There are many activities you can enjoy in the island, but their main attraction is the island hopping. From Cebu to Puerto Princessa we rode a van to El Nido. El Nido is located in the far end of the island so it will take roughly 6-7 hours of land trip before you arrive in the place.

Upon arrival, we organized our things and prepped ourselves for tomorrows activity.
Then we went to bed because the long travel got us exhausted.

The next day, we went island hopping. Since there were only 4 of us in the group we were joined to the other group so we can occupy the boat together. As we hopped from one island to another I can't stop my jaw from hanging. The place was awe-strucking and everything was just picture perfect. No exaggeration there, you'll know what I'm talking once you see it for yourself. 😆😁

I really liked to dive underneath the water but I didn't have the gears. 😭 So I merely content my self swimming and exploring each island. One of the things that people look forward during island hopping was the lunch. The food was prepared in the the boat, and the boatmen really made a good presentation, giving it an appetizing look.


About 40 minutes from our place is a twin beach named Nacpan. The shore is very long that it is in the top 10 list of longest shores in the world. Nacpan is a very relax place where tourists can sleep in the hammocks, climb on the hill or just swim in the water. It was absolutely the most chill place for me.

Overall, El Nido was great. The experience was overwhelming and unforgettable. Everything was beautiful. Their local foods are scrumptious although a little bit pricy but it's worth it. You can also party at night in their bars near the beach. There are still a lot of things you can do but due to time constraint our short lived vacation came to an end. 😭

Aside from crystal clear beaches and humongous rocks, Palwan has something more to offer. So went to a city tour in Puerto Princessa after spending 3 days in El Nido. We did a quick tour and explore the place in just a day before we were about to depart from the city.
