Philippines is an archipelago, it has many beaches. Apart from Boracay in Aklan or Puerto Prinsesa in Palawan, there is also called Samal Island or Island Garden City of Samal also known as IGaCOS it is a 4th class City in the province of Davao del Norte, its mainland is Mindanao. Samal Island is one of the most beautiful Island here in the Philippines. The beaches here are can also be compared to the world class beaches. Aside from Pearl Farm, Casino Beach Resort, Secdia, Paradise Beach, Villa Amparo, Blue Jazz, Costa Marina, and more, there is this one beach here that I love the most and its name is Uraya Beach Resort

I'd been here four times already because the ambience is very relaxing the beach is very cozy and it's not so crowded here because you need to travel 30-35Kms away from the wharf station. As you can see the beach is very clear, which is very enjoyable for all beach swimmers. In front of Uraya are Malipano Island wherein Pearl Farm Villa is built that is for VIPs only and the other one is Wishing Island you can go there through kayaking with Php150.00 rental fee for an hour, they have also jetski and some other rides.

The Taclobo Farm is also there in front of this Uraya Beach Resort for only Php200.00 you can close encounter with those giant clamps there and experience snorkeling. They have divers that will guide you there too. The views are eye catching and you can even enjoy more of your stay here if you try to tour the islands and experience its natural beauty. The Comfort room here is literally comp'table to all users because they assured that it is always clean and no unwanted smell. With only Php100.00 Day tour entrance you can have a satisfying day time relaxation. With your Php100 you have free tables and chairs. So it's up to you if you rent another cottage they have open and close cottages for your needs. If you have tent much better you can assemble it there anywhere you want.

How to get there

From Davao City you will ride a barge/ferry service for both passengers with or without vehicles in Sasa Wharf Station. You can reach the island through it in less than 15minutes.
You can also ride a boat in Onse or KM.11 Sasa along wet market and you will reach the island in 10mins. or if you want to travel far and enjoy the boat ride you can go to Sta. Ana Wharf station and ride also boat there for 45minutes to 1hr. It really depends on your convenience where to ride and get there.

Samal is a white sand beaches where you can enjoy much and affordable to your budget.
