Two down sides for being a confident person
• You aren’t relatable
• No one feels sorry for you
They programmed us to go through life doubting ourselves, our ideas, and our abilities
In a society that profits from your self-doubt, believing in yourself is a rebellious act
Confidence has to built from within
If you build it on compliments, it will be broken on criticism
If you believe in yourself wholeheartedly they'll make you seem crazy or cocky.
But the whole time they'd kill for your confidence
Reminds me of this
Never base your self-esteem on the approval of others, you will abandoning yourself if you do that.
The harder you try to make people like you, the less you will like yourself
And if you live for compliments, you will easily be crushed by criticism
