During two weeks period since mainnet launch we received good portion of reasonable feedback about how our platform can be improved to better suit early adopters. We adjusted our development roadmap and today we will share what improvements BCShop.io platform will see in near future.

Flexible Escrow

Escrow functionality will be adjusted to better fulfill the requirements of establishing crypto commerce and payments.

1. Buyers will be able to confirm successful trade or payment if they wish to do so. In this case merchants will be able to claim the payment without waiting full time allotted for escrow.
2. Merchants will be able to close an escrowed deal with 100% refund in case they are unable to deliver the product. In this case their reputation will not suffer, but another statistic shown the number of canceled deals will be added.
3. Adjustable escrow time. Merchants will be able to set the time during which payment is kept on escrow smart-contract.

Price Lists

Merchants will be able to create price lists and share assortment of their goods with one link. This is especially useful for merchants who have a lot of different things to offer so the list of individual trades looks overwhelming.

Catalogue

We will add a catalogue where all deals from pre-approved merchants will be published. This will allow BCShop.io platform to become one-stop solution for people looking to spend their ETH for goods or services. During some time listing in catalogue will be free for all merchants and later we will add listing fee (paid in BCS) to support tokenomy of the project.

Video Tutorials

Feedback showed that our friendly-focused interface is still somewhat unclear for people who are not very familiar with crypto usage. In order for the platform to become more accessible for all range of users we will be gradually adding video tutorials about platform functions.

API / SDK development

When platform’s functionality is shaped, we will start developing tools for easy 3rd-party integration. This will make BCShop.io adjustable for specific business needs. Automation of trade and integration with another software will also become much easier.

Of course, there are minor improvements and fixes, mostly regarding interface and website functionality, many of which were discovered thanks to your valuable feedback. Feedback is still welcomed in our telegram group or at [email protected].
