Check Out My New Battle Station (PC) That Only Cost 250 Steem (0.05 BTC)
My previous PC, that's lasted 9 years, with minimal upgrades failed this past week. Thanks to an incredible employee of Milwaukee PC, on farwell st, my rig has lasted me nearly a decade. I mean of course I upgraded to an ssd hard drive as soon as that came out plus the GTX 1080 the second it came out. But after years of moving across the US, and to Canada, finally took its toll on my rig. I don't really know much about computers other than how to trouble shoot when something goes wrong. I'm fairly good at the guess and check method. At last, for the first time in my life, my guess and check powers failed. Despite my unwillingness to part with any crypto-currency, I decided I just had to give up 250 steem right around the $4 high we just witnessed. Just check out how investing your time in Steem and Steemit can pay off, with time and patience!

As mentioned before I'm not the best with computers so all the parts minus the case were picked out by
Raphael, who works at Top1Tech in Las Vegas, NV. The parts were chosen to fit my 250 Steem budget (roughly $1,000 USD) and for my love of pc gaming!
A Few More Pics
It's funny how much less of the insides you can see in a picture vs real life. I must have tried 50 diffenet pictures with many different angles and camera settings but the tempered glass just won't allow a life like picture.
I hope you enjoyed the post. I'm interested to know what other goodies people got themselves thanks to their contributions to Steemit followed by their patience to not dump right away!

Holy shit. Why is ram so expensive?
I've bought much cheaper ram several times before and its always the first thing to fail! So when I first saw the list I was like WTF too! One of the requirements, I told the person helping me with the build, was longevity. He assured me these choice of parts were one of the bests chances I had for my rig to last 5 years, with minimal to no problems. We will see if he's right! Also side note I use my computer roughly 3000 hours a year so after one year the cost per hour of roughly $1500 of parts is $0.50/hr. After two years $0.25/hr and after 3 years $0.16/hr. So its really not that expensive.
RAM really has been skyrocketing in price lately, hasn't it?
SSDs as well. I keep waiting for the next generation to drive down the older stock, and it just isn't happening.
What have you bought with your crypto currency?!?
Buy anything you regret because the price went up soon after?
I have!
Oh well life happens!
Gotta have the duel monitor setup!
With a large wallpaper collection!
If you think ram is expensive you should check out the price of GPU!
It's insane right now!
The GPU I bought bought for $600 well over a year ago now sells for over $1,000!!!
Nice rig!
Thanks!
Sweet! I've been stuck for the last several years with an Alienware Aurora R4 with Dual Geoforce GTX 680 cards. Was great when I bought it, but now am so hopeing for 1080's soon.

Nice setup. I've been itching to build a desktop for a while but it's hard to justify when I've got two laptops that already do everything I need.
I just tagged you for the 7 day Black and White photography challenge since I stumbled on your post through the "Battlestations" tag!
