Minecraft Earth inching closer to launch!

Here's last weeks closed beta announcement, this look like a blast and I can already see people out and about building away! Something like a Pokemon Go 2.0?!?

I'm absolutely pumped for this as I'm sure millions of gamers around the world, this is going to be huge.. If you're not familiar with this release of minecraft here's some info for plus I'll drop the official reveal trailer down below.

Minecraft Earth is an upcoming augmented reality sandbox mobile game developed by Mojang based on the video game Minecraft.

Similar to the original Minecraft, Earth is centered around building structures, gathering resources, crafting and exploration. Players could build augmented reality structures in collaboration with other players, gather resources through tapping on "tappables" in the in-game map, and access "Adventures" which may be a puzzle or a specific task, or a virtual location with hostile entities to defeat. The Adventures reward players with in-game currency.[1] Collaborative construction is done on "build plates", and players can share copies of their completed structures.

Minecraft Earth will take into account physical objects such as trees and lakes so there will be less incidents and interference with the AR Simulation. Source
