Why do bats sleep upside down?

Bats are flying mammals that originate from the Chiroptera order with both front legs growing into wings. And its kinda hard to find them during the day because they are nocturnal, they sleep during the day. But, have you ever pay attention to their sleeping position? yes, it's upside down.

Have you ever wondered why they did it?

Well, there are two reasons why they do that sleeping position.

First, it's related to how they fly. For bats, it's more easier to fly by dropping himself from a height. Instead of Jumping, Dropping himself from a height it's more saving energy.

And the other reason why they do that sleeping position is to saving their lives. By sleeping on high place with that sleeping position, will keep them away from predators. And in case there are predator who can reach them, they can easily dropping himself to fly away.
