Have you heard of BAT? Its number 19 on coinmarketcap.com and its up 79% in the past 24 hours!

BAT or Basic Attention Token had its ICO just days ago. Yesterday it came to Bittrex. Now people are finding out how great it is and why they should get in early. I posted about this yesterday right after buying some BAT on Bittrex. My BAT is already up 79% because people are just finding out about this new cryptocurrency that could revolutionize web browsers to make it better for users. In this post I am going to explain Basic Attention Token and I will provide links to informative videos on the topic.

Basic Attention Token (BAT) is a new cryptocurrency built on Ethereum. Ethereum's blockchain software is a great starting point and BAT is the currency that will power the Brave web browser. This browser will block ads and provide security while also giving users the ability to be paid for time spent watching ads. Additionally, content producers will be paid by advertising companies to make their content enjoyable and users can pay content providers if they enjoy their content. Sounds familiar, right? It is a lot like Steemit and Steem but it is a web browser instead of a social media platform.
