Update on BAT
An update on Basic Attention Token better know as BAT. We saw a nice rally in the last month which can be credited to the steady growth Brave Browser users. The growth is approximately 500k users ever moth and a half as seen in the below graph.

The above graph show user data up to Jan 2019 and the latest report on the user count is that Brave broke the 8 million mark ((Source - here). Using the report the monthly active users can be extrapolated as seen in the blow graph.
If we consider the circulation supply there is just one point in the coins life that is a bit of a concern in November of 2018 but perhaps this was an airdrop (I don't have info on this yet). Increase in the circulation supply from this date is due to the brave browser kicking off and rewarding users. This is inevitable inflation to keep the browser running but not a bad model. Time will tell if this model will succeed.
From November of 2018 there has been an increase of approximately 350 million coins (it includes the jump in circulation supply). This is a few days short of a year but if we assume that it's been over a your this was inflation of 34.4%
Like I always do we can look at what the price would have been without this inflation. Current price on coinmarketcap looks something like the image below.
Without the inflation, which means the circulation supply stays the same, the price would have been US$0.33. I know it is impracticable because there must be some intensive but as explained above it includes the massive bump in circulation supply in November of 2018.
Without this massive bump, inflation is more in the order of 13.3% (yearly).
Maybe someone can point me in the right direction of why there was such a massive increase in circulation supply.
