CROC CITY LEAGUE.

Saturday fixtures and results from the croc city basketball league. There were four matches played across different venues in the croc city league.
The biggest match of the day was the Kada Kings versus Golden Generation. The venue of this match was filled with fans as early as 1pm local time with a lot of activities to keep wet the anxiety and expectations of the fans. The match started at 3:00pm local with the Kings wearing their famous black Jersey while the Golden Generation wore green as their away jersey, the jump ball got on the way with Kings winning the jump ball and gaining an early lead of 23-16 points in the first quarter. Second quarter saw the Kings maintaining their leads by 58-51 to end the second quarter. Third and fourth quarter saw the Golden Generation taking a lead of 2 points which stretched to the last few minutes of the game. With one minute twelve seconds left on the clock, the Kings adopted a three two defensive tactics to cut out the shooters from the Golden Generation. The tactics did worked as the Kings narrowly won the game 78-77 points

The match between the defending champions Zinix and Slingshots ended defeat for Slingshots as expected but the Slings does gave up a good fight before they bowed out in the last quarter to the supremacy of the Zinix who won the game 84-76 points.

D.Blocks versus Zeraphet was the last match of the weekend as both teams chase victory to consolidate their limited chances of progressions into the playoff at the end of the season. With both teams losing their three previous matches played so far, a win for either side will go a long way to bring a relieved to the teams. Zeraphat coach made three changes to his usual starting five as he went for additional shooters to ease up the pressure a little on his forward line. D.Blocks on the other hands maintain their starting five for the encounter. The match ended 71-64 in favour of D.Blocks.
