RE: Steem Basic Income - Visualizing upvotes from our members

in #basicincome6 years ago

Hello @steembasicincome, I love this concept and we are also building a community for the Indian People. We are a group of 10-15 people working towards the betterment of the community. We are very excited that this is a great time to be on steemit when people like you are making big efforts to help people.

I have a brother @udesh and we both have three accounts on steem blockchain(@rahulbairwa). We registered with 6 steem but looking at the votes given by you, it looks like we are getting only 1 shares worth of vote on our accounts. But according to our registration the votes should be equal to 4 shares each on the accounts.

Please look into this.
Thank You
@verma

I do show that both of you are at 4 shares. Your shares determine your portion of the total weekly voting weight. Your upvote weight is then divided by your posting frequency. Since you are posting more frequently than the average member, it looks like your upvotes aren't any higher, but remember you are getting more of them.

At your posting frequency, if you didn't have the extra shares you would have been slotted into pool 2. Even if your upvotes are only 1% upvotes, they are still more than than the 3 or 4% upvotes you would be receiving in pool 2.
