Distribution #12: Great Progress Being Made

This was another successful week for the Manna project.

Today we had another distribution which was our 12th since the 1st of March.

We are excited as we near that magical 100,000 UBI recipient number. This should happen a day or two after Steemit reached 1 million accounts. This is a great milestone for both projects.

This week we send Manna to just over 98,000 people. This was an increase of 11,000 people from the distribution last week of 87,000. That is an increase of 12.6% in a week.

Thank you to everyone who passed their referral links around. A cryptocurrency only has value when there is a strong community behind it. We are thrilled that we have a strong one forming.

We are going to put together a Steem Basic Income contest in celebration of our 100,000 UBI recipient milestone. The one we used last time with @taskmaster worked out well. We hope to get a couple people to do what he did and contribute 10 Steem for the purchase of Steem Basic Income Units.

Here is how it works:

• @mannacurrency will put purchase 1 Steem Basic Unit for each of the first 5 individuals who purchase a Steem Basic Unit in the name of @mannacurrency.

• The matching party (or parties) will purchase 5 Steem Basic Units in the name of @mannacurrency AND 1 Steem Basic Unit in the name of each of the first 5 individuals who purchase a Steem Basic Income unit in the name of @mannacurrency.

Please leave your name in the comment section if you would like to be a matching person. Keep in mind that part of the Steem Basic Income program is there are two units for each one purchased. The one doing the purchasing gets a unit also. Hence, anyone doing the matching will get 10 units also.
