They're a better team than they've been playing so far. But last year's team seemed deeper and was one of those groups that play better together than the sum of their parts. Guys like Bellinger often hit a sophomore slump. Maybe having Turner back will help those guys, including Taylor, see some better pitches? Weather has been cool so far also and that dampens the HRs. I've never thought their pitching was elite, aside from Kershaw, Jansen, and that sick breaking ball that Hill throws. But if they turn things around, they should be good enough to get a Wild Card spot at least.
