Diffucult days in Barcelona and Catalonia

Last Monday, 14th of October, the results of the judgement to the 12 independence leaders were know (they fight for the independence of Catalonia from Spain): some of them will have from 9 to 13 years in prison.

A lot of people, even we want the independence of Catalonia from Spain, even we don’t want it, find these results so exaggerated. So from that Monday, there are demonstrations every day in Barcelona and the in rest of Catalonia.

During the day, these demonstrations are pacific and nice things are done; on Tuesday people had to bring candles, on Wednesday toilet paper and on Thursday balls to play there.
From Thursday there was a “hike”, people were leaving their towns together from each town, and everyone met on Friday in Barcelona.

But also every day have been incidents, containers burning, problems between the police and the people, injured people… this is so sad.

We really hope the situation will get better soon.
