Netherlands-based mobile phone and Internet service provider VOON has offered to buy the ownership of the mobile operator Banglalink. In a statement on Tuesday, the company said this proposal.
In this statement, in addition to Banglalink, Pakistan's mobile operator Jazz-O also offered to buy the company. But the ownership of Banglalink Global Telecom Holdings, which is not Banglalink in Bangladesh, will change.
Vioon said, the transaction with Global Telecom Holding could be completed in relation to ownership changes in the last quarter of 2018. Already 255 million dollars have been proposed for the two companies.
Note that the ownership company of Banglalink is Telecom Ventures Limited. Global Telecom Holding Again Voon, owner of 52 percent of Global Telecom.
Regarding ownership change, Banglalink's senior manager (corporate communications) Sukraa said, "It is a matter of ownership." Banglalink business will continue as before.
