Black Out!
On the night of 25 March, the people of the country observed a one-minute black-out program to release the lights in memory of the massacre of the Pakistani occupation army. The program was held from 9 am to 9 pm on Sunday.
Earlier, on March 11, at a meeting held at the Ministry of Home Affairs in the Secretariat, a decision was taken to stop all types of lights in the country for one minute to remember the dead.On the night of 25 March 1971, the Pakistani army jumped on the unarmed people of this country. In the campaign called 'Operation Searchlight', the genocide was carried out in Dhaka in the first hour of the night.
