Saudi Arabia and Our Girls

From a third world country, for most of us, It is a dream to get a good standard of life. In Bangladesh, our per capita income and GDP both is increasing day by day. If I talk about our macro then I have to confess till the date we have more 20 Million people who are extremely poor and extra 20 Million people is living below the poverty line. For them, Life is getting a minimum level of food which can help them to survive. To improve the life standard and to turn the wheels of luck our girls had to go Saudi Arabia to earn some money. Everybody has a dream. For Rich people, it is to buy a Mercedes and for them it may be to give their parents a quality treatment advantages and give some money to their little brother or sister to ensure their study life. From 2015, Bangladesh government sent almost 200,000 girls to Saudia Arabia to work in people's house. Our girls scene is too hard they can take lots of torture otherwise they don't work 18 hours in day where they were contracted to take care of the old household member. Around 5000 of them already returned after facing various difficulties in Saudi Arabia.

By contacting with several of them, I get some information. Most of the returnees said that they were physically tortured and sexually abused. They did not get a minimum behavior that a human expect to get. This world is too cruel otherwise my sisters would not get behaviour like this from a country which we used to believe a holy land for us. Yes, It is also true that everybody is not bad and maximum of them is good. I believe, International Feminist organizations will come forward and help our girls to get a true justice of the abusing.
This is the fate of us because of born in a poor country. Education is the main lacking here. Our girls should be educated so that they can be self dependent. Nice write up.
Yes bhai, we failed here. we should make our women skilled so that they can do a lot in our country but We should also be aware of this kind of torture and abusement.
Ask them to organise protest in Saudi or in Bangladesh. Nobody listen 👂 without noise
You know it's too hard to do something from a third world country and when it is a country like Saudi Arabia then I have to say this is a little bit impossible.
From very beginning of civilization, Arabians are most uncivilized nation! Despite availability of some good people there, most of the Arabians people are rich by born, by nature! So, they have taken the life only for enjoying and they spare non in this purpose. BD authority is totally failure to ensure safety of not only female Bangladeshi workers abroad but male workers too. We are sorry real hero of BD. Please pardon us.
Yes, our diplomacy sucks to the world
That they earn with their sweat are sweet but flavor of their sweat is bitter & unbearable to our royal authority! Illiterate diplomacy!
What is the need to export women labour? My personal opinion is that their work environment in Bangladesh. It is possible to educate them in technical education in this country. If the government provides timely education for young girls of Bangladesh and they are notified about the recruitments related to work related matters, then labor export will not be required.
