Bangladesh series final against Afghanistan
Bangladesh is going to play the Twenty20 series against Afghanistan for the first time. India will play three matches in Dehradun next June.
The Afghanistan Cricket Board said in a press release on Wednesday that the three-match match will be played on June 3, 5 and 7 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Dehradun. Every match will start on Bangladesh at 8.00 pm. War-crashed Afghanistan play their own 'home' series on this field in India.
Bangladesh team will go to Dehra Dun on May 29 to play in the series. The only preparation match will be played on June 1.
Bangladesh have played one Twenty20 against Afghanistan before In the match of the 2014 World Cup, Bangladesh won 9 wickets.
Since then, Afghanistan has progressed a lot. The team has 8 points in ICC Twenty20 rankings. Shakib Al Hasan's team rank 10
BCB has already made a 31-member primary squad for the tour of West Indies in June. The team can be formed from the T20 squad of the Afghanistan series.
