in #bangladesh7 years ago

After the end of exploitation of two hundred years of British rule, on August 14, 1947, two independent states emerged on the basis of two principles of India-Pakistan. Pakistan did not have any good relations with Bangladesh since the beginning of language conflict. Because of the discrimination policy, Pakistan's dispute with Bangladesh continued to grow. When theBengalss felt the need for language movement when language conflict increased, in September 1947, the social and cultural organization named "Tamudun Majlish" was established. The young leader of the university was Abul Kashem a young professor of Dhaka University. On September 2, 1947, Dhaka University started the movement. In a conference in Karachi in 1947, Urdu was recognized as the only state language of Pakistan. This recognition was opposed by the Congress member of Dharendranath Dutta of Comilla in the first session of the Constituent Assembly of Pakistan and he demanded to use Bengali as well as Urdu and English. But Pakistani Prime Minister Liaquat Ali Khan opposes this demand. The strike was celebrated on 26 February in protest. The strike was suspended for a temporary period when the Chief Minister Khwaja Nazimuddin promised to accept the demand of Bangla language while strikes and strikes continued till 15th March. In March 1948, when Mohammad Ali Jinnah expressed his support for the Urdu language at the Racecourse field, the state of the country became a strong storm. In 1950, Liaquat Ali Khan, the Prime Minister declared "Urdu will be the only state language in Pakistan". On January 26, 1952, Chief Minister Khwaja Nazimuddin made the same announcement. The movement continued to be intensified from the threshold. On 30 January, the general strike and public meeting was celebrated on the streets of Dhaka and since then, the All-Party State Language Struggle Committee was formed. The decision was taken to celebrate the Language Day of the All-India Language Struggle Committee on February 21 and the decision to observe the day of the strike was taken. If the governor Nurul Amin Sarkar imposed Section 144 in Dhaka to foil the strike, then the student prepared to break the section 144. Meetings are held at Dhaka University in Dhaka, meetings are held in the pond and meetings are held in Battala. In the morning, the boys of Bengal carried out a procession with fearless courageous courage. When the police roused the desperate sail, Salam, Barkat, Rafiq, Jabbar, Safuir and some other heroes fell down on the streets. After the continuation of the massacre, the Pakistan government was finally forced to accept the offer. Proposals to make Bangla national language unanimously adopted in the provincial council.
