MBK, or Mah boon krong as is its full name, was built in 1985. And has been popular ever since

It's not as up-market or stylish as neighbouring Siam Discovery, Siam Centre and the glitzy Siam Paragon, but it offers a huge amount of different shops and local goods for a bargain.

This is definitely the most packed of all shopping spots in Bangkok.
If you want to buy a souvenir before you go back home, MBK is the place to be. There are many stalls with typical Thai souvenirs.

Besides shopping, they also offer a wide range of entertainment. You can easily spend a full-day in MBK, which makes it the perfect place to go on a rainy day.

MBK is open everyday from 10 A.M till 10 P.M. 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

MBK is easy to reach thanks to a direct walkway from the BTS.
Take the Skytrain from any station to: National Stadium and from there take Exit 4 and you can walk straight into the side of MBK.

Literally every taxi driver knows this famous shopping mall in Bangkok, so you can hail a cab from anywhere, but traffic can be intense and we highly recommend you to NOT take a taxi during rush hour.
