Each one is different, anywhere from 9 to 15 months. You cut the tree down when harvesting the fruit. But more trees are coming up near the base for next harvest. Where one tree was, 4 or 5 more are growing.
That's interesting, and something we didn't know.

Oh, that's really cool. I'm in Canada, so I won't be growing any in the near future, but you never know.
