If not an accident, then why?

In the 1960s my family moved from the Panama Canal Zone to Philadelphia. We were transported on an old Navy troop ship. As we were navigating through Chesapeake Bay in heavy fog we passed a carrier going the opposite direction and we missed it by maybe 50'. Navy sailors were lined up on the rail of each ship as they passed. My dad said if we'd collided our little transport would have sunk.

Now we've got container ships bigger than carriers navigating these packed harbors. The accident the other day was bound to happen somewhere. But because the Democratic party has such a terrible recent history of black swan events, false flag events and so forth that we automatically assume it was not an accident.

If it wasn't an accident I'm having a hard time figuring out why it was planned.
