Stuttgart Ballet Japan Tour 2018 “Onegin”

Stuttgart Ballet will visit Japan in November. The performance consists of two programs. “Swan Lake” and “Onegin”. Here I will describe the latter. Onegin is a ballet based on Pushkin's verse-novel Eugene Onegin and consisted by Tchaikovsky’s music, but Tchaikovsky's opera music of the same name is not used for that. One of John Cranko’s masterpieces. Although I will not be able to go to Tokyo, I am definitely thrilled to get information. I almost fell in love with Friedemann Vogel as Onegin.
