First month of my unemployment (or should I say freelancing and entrepreneurship) is done and I must say - it is greater than I imagined it would be.
I've cooked over 100 tarts and cakes, tried over 50 new delicious recipes (this is one of them), met a lot of interesting and passionate people, ate a lot of desserts. Of course, made by me.
This recipe is so easy that even a kid could do it.
Ingredients:
200 g dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
250 g butter (80% fat)
85 g cocoa
4 large eggs
0.5 g baking powder
100 g plain flour
270 g caster sugar (the original recipe was with 360 g caster sugar, but I reduced it. We don't want diabetes, right?)
Instructions:
- As usual, preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F. Line a baking tin with greaseproof paper. I use a 31/20 cm tin.
- Melt the butter and the chocolate over bain marie, stirring from time to time.
- Mix the "dry" ingredients: flour, baking powder, sugar, cocoa.
- Beat the eggs with a pinch of salt.
- Mix all the ingredients, until you get a fudgy consistency.
- Pour the brownie into the baking tin and bake it for 23 - 25 minutes. After this time, let it cool completely. Do not worry if the brownie doesn't pass the skewer test (the butter and chocolate will do their work). :D
You want a silky and gooey cake, not an overcooked one!
What do you think? Is it DELICIOUS or DELICIOUS?
Till next time, enjoy your brownie and let me know how was it
