Work bake balance

Work days start after vacation. I did not bake a single loaf of bread during the vacation. I bought bread from bakeries and tried to find out my favorite taste. Now it's time to bake bread.

It may sound impossible to balance on a work day but as I work at home it's easier. Even you work at office in the daytime I think it's possible with no knead bread recipes like this:

Work bake balance is something I learned from my mother who is a translator for 25 years and a hobby baker for more than 40 years. She bakes bread like a magic in between housework and translation work. I was happy to find freshly baked bread after school. It makes me smiling that I do exactly same around the age she started doing so.

Today I baked Focaccia for lunch to make sandwich. The recipe from How to Make Bread by Emmanuel Hadjiandreou I follow takes 4-5 hours but most of the time dough rise by itself. I mix ingredients, fold dough two times every hour, and bring it in the oven in the end.

Now I'm baking Brioche for breakfast tomorrow as I found butter in a good price at a super market ;)

Ja, baking is a good life long hobby.

(Talking about bread recipes, I like Plötzblog. It's written in German but English translation works well.)
