Do you know what the most hilarious thing here is... Its actually true that this is helping minnows. The way i see this backscratcher thing is as a response of minnows to whales that are perceived as abusing the reward pool.
If they are doing it, why not us as well? If its ok for the rich folks to sell their votes for $$$, why is vote for vote any worse then that.
Dont get me wrong, im not a fan of Trevon and i 100% think this is a bullshit thing hes doing...
But lets be honest for one second.... All this is a symptom of the general behavior that has grabbed and is grabbing STEEM more and more every day.
Many of the influential folks here are creating a bad example. As much as i am an advocate of individual decision making, most people are just followers. They follow trends, ideas, people, adjust themselves towards accepted behavior.
So when they see many influential folks here be greedy, many will do the same and you end up with crap like this. lol
There is no delegation involved. The users follow our curation trail via steemauto and we add them to our fanbase, they receive votes according to their level of active SP which encourages them to hodl. Another benefit of not using delegation is that our users can leave the trail and put their SP to use right away whenever they choose without a 5 day waiting period.
Using their vp instead of delegations is not a big difference, I wouldn't trust you with 0.001 sp voting power after you've been promoting bitconnect all over our blockchain. Sooner or later this braindead project will die off just like the activity of your followers have.

Trust me, Trevon, many here disapprove your actions, you should do so as well but I think you lack the ability to feel shame at all, perhaps even the ability to think critically? In fact, I think there's three camps of people in the world:
Those who yet don't know what kind of person you are
Those who join your schemes in hopes of getting rich fast and got scammed (bitconnect)
Those who know you and wish you'd just stop these schemes and leave internet all together
The value of Steem blockchain diminishes every time you post here. I know, harsh words, but you scammed tons of people through Bitconnect for years and you just continue trucking along, deleting your past scams and schemes and coming up with new ones. I can't be the only one disgusted...
