BACKPACKING IN TURKEY | WAS IT WORTH IT? (TRAVEL VIDEO)
We've spent about 1 month in this country. In that time we did all kinds of things: traveled by hitchhiking and traveled by buses, slept in a tent, spent a few days with "couchsurfing" hosts and a few nights at hotel. Main places we have visited were Istanbul, Ankara, Nevsehir, Sivas, Samsun, Ordu, Trabzon and Agri. This time I would like to answer one question. WAS IT WORTH IT?
Have you already seen my last video "Does Couchsurfing work in Turkey"?
Today's video covers our journey from Nevsehir to Sivas and from Sivas to Samsun by bus and hitchhiking trip from Samsun to Ordu, where we had to spend a night in a tent during a thunder storm. The answer to question is YES. I will tell you 5 reasons why.
[1.] Finding a Couchsurfing host in Turkey is extremely easy and they are usually sooo hospitable.
[2.] Hitchhiking is even easier. We never had to wait longer than 15 minutes I think.
[3.] They don't understand word "No" when you try to refuse the food they buy for us. Even those guys who didn't speak English took us to restaurants and bought us one meter Turkish pizzas and all other kinds of dishes.
[4.] Almost all of their cities are ancient and they are proud of their history so much. One restaurant owner refused to take our money when we tried to pay. He was happy that travelers from such a distant country are interested in his country.
[5.] Everything is really cheap compared to most of European countries. Even the highest class public transportation is sooo cheap. They even give you free ice cream and beverages every half an hour in buses.
I hope you liked the video. Let's be friends. Next time I will show you the last video from Turkey, how we went to Trabzon to get our Iranian visas. After this we will go to another amazing country - Georgia. :)

My girlfriend @Kamile on my left and two travelers from Ukraine on my right. These two guys traveled around the Black Sea by bicycles. THAT'S CRAZY!!! Our Couchsurfing host in the middle.
