Well,  over the weekend we could welcome three new members to the Summerhill  family * Lisa gave birth to Lauris and his sister Luna, and two days  later our precious Lotte delivered as well twins, but sadly her new born  'Lottchen' passed away right after the birth-this was a very traumatic  incident indeed, but luckily her son Leonard is healthy and very lively.

All these three baby-goats are simply just so adorable !

We  had to separate the moms with their newborn in two different  nursery-spaces - but to my surprise I found all three babies this  morning in one stable, so that means that one-day-old Leonard sneaked  through the fence already...he is by the way the most handsome and  photogenic little guy! 

Lotte  and Lise do not particular like to stay the whole day in the nursery  stables, but the babies goats are just too young to explore the farm  with the rest of the herd.
Normally  I let them stay for at least a week or so in a fenced area and bring  them all day Olive-leaf branches and serve the hungry mothers three  times per day a lucerne, corn and molasses mix.
