Activities with Baby: 3 Months
Now that your baby is 3 months, some say they are out of infancy, depends on who you ask. By now though, they have developed some sort of routine and may require more “entertainment” during awake times.
Here are some activities to do with your
3 Month Old
- Tummy raspberries (blow on bare tummy) and watch baby smile and laugh in response
- Tummy time, now that they can go for an extended time and are comfortable, place them in front of the mirror during tummy time so they can look at themselves
- Now baby will track toys with eyes and head. Play with them by flying toys overhead.
- Imitate, by now baby is making noises (most likely) and cooing or babbling, imitate their noises and sounds to encourage their use of language
- Sing songs
- Let baby grab toes and feet, put them in shoes or socks so they practice grabbing
- Lay soft toys on their chest and watch them reach and grab at them
- Continue to read to them, by now your baby is probably looking at the pages and reaching out to touch and feel them

Three months is when things start getting more fun, since the baby can interact more too. The babbles and coos are just adorable!
You are so right! They begin to interact so much and it is awesome! I don’t think I got enough video of him cooing to hold me over, now that he is grown out of those sounds and is on to trying to “talk” (which is really babble lol)
