In the time of the tower of Babel, all spoke one language; God confused there language [tongue].
In the time of Luther, he claims to offer bibles that men can understand in their native tongues. That all men can fully interpret via the light of the spirit.
In the advent of the holy spirit, Peter speaks with the power that all who listen can understand him [tongues]...
But it seems that what happens in the reformation even unto today is not the work of the spirit done in Peter, but the work of the spirit found in Babel...
