It's a shame that this promising manga series ended so quickly

The Ayashimon series is said to be one of the most promising manga. However, Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine, which is part of Shueisha's manga series, surprisingly ended Ayashimon's manga.

As quoted from ComicBook, Tuesday, May 31, 2022, the series ended before getting a chance to compete with other big series, such as One Piece, Black Clover, and My Hero Academia.

Ayashimon which is the work of mangaka Yuji Kaku ended with only 25 chapters. The story in the Ayashimon series focuses on a boy named Maruo.

Maruo is described as a fan of the Shonen Jump manga. He also trains himself as strongly as possible like the hero he idolized in the Shonen Jump manga.

Suddenly, Maruo is dragged into a world full of evil and the secret spirit of Ayashimon and filled with monsters. Maruo also works with a girl to bring her back to the peak of glory like her father used to be.

Unfortunately, fans were unable to see the continuation of this story as it was quickly ended by Shueisha. Shueisha ended Ayashimon when the story was still in the middle of the first arc.

Many fans were disappointed with the ending of this series before it started. The story must end when Maruo realizes what he is fighting for and fans can't enjoy the continuation of this series.

This is different from Yuji Kaku's previous work, Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku. The series was a success on Shueisha's Jump+ app and has also been published in a total of 13 volumes.

Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku will also be adapted in anime form. Although it is not yet known when it will officially be released, the anime adaptation of this series is being worked on by Studio Mappa.

Compared to Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku, Ayashimon offers a lighter view of Yuji Kaku's creative world.
