NEW Theme! Abandoned Shit Weekly Contest - №.17 - Abandoned Fishing Boat !!
On my recent trip to Koh Samui in Thailand i was visiting some friends in Nathon beach which is a beach of the Gulf of Thailand it is a lovely white sand beach with a couple of beach resorts around but nothing high class it's more of a quieter beach nice to just relax with a cold beer and watch the sunsets. Very cheap resorts to stay in great for backpackers.
During my walk along the beach i came across this abandon fishing boat still anchored down but left to rot probably some fisherman won the lottery and bought himself a more modern fishing boat just my theory who knows. This part of Nathon beach is well know for it's great fishing area it's called little Nathon fishing village.
Where this abandon fishing boat sits to rot is not far away from the main Nathon Town and the Nathon Pier were a lot of tourist come across on big huge ferries from the main land of Surat Thani to holiday on Koh Samui island from the pier they are taken over to the other side of Koh Samui island to Chaweng Beach by mini vans were all the action on nightlife is.
One great advantage about this abandon fishing boat is it sits in a prime spot on the Gulf of Thailand and as you can see it makes a awesome picturesque sunset , postcard materials.

It looks to be steel? Or is it wood? Seems like they would sell the steel for scrap.
Actually it is a wooden boat i see what you mean though saying steel with the rusty color down the sides i do think that is just the steel bean running along the top to give it more strength i would image ??
Wow, that is so interesting that they just left it there to rot. Maybe on purpose because it is so captivating and wonderful in its own way.
