well, as you can imagine, Debbie Wasserman Schultz is a close ally of Hillary and a proper investigation would implicate scores of congressional democrats (30+) and other high level figures in DC.
The answer to your wondering would be that the liberal media would do anything to protect liberal politicians. The crimes that have been exposed, on both sides of the aisle, are so damning, the media has to spin it to save 'their' politicians careers and keep the people at bay.
