AVOID THIS MISTAKE

Years back, as an Internal Control Officer in a bank, I had a colleague who is known for his good job. He is very vast and good.
He once made a big mistake but was pardoned. However, on the day of appraisals he came late and that was taken against him.
Our HOD refused to recommend him for promotion on that ground. One single mistake cost him his much desired promotion. He almost cried, but our HOD told him that you have to be consistent.
LESSON LEARNT
You may commit terrible offence and not get punished accordingly, but one simple mistake can ruin everything you wished for.
Be careful of your decision and choices. One seemingly simple mistake can make you lose your career, your family and everything you have built.
A single bad bet can put you down for life. It is not about how simple or hard the act may be, but how it can impact your life and career.
Be watchful of your circle of friends. One bad friend is enough to make you lose focus. One bad recruitment can make you lose your reputation as a recruiter. One bad statement can make a nation go to war.
Watch what you say
Watch where you go
Watch who you associate with
Watch what you give attention to
Watch what you spend time and money on
Watch who you tell your stories to
REMEMBER one mistake is enough to put a full stop to everything you have built!
keep a watch on yourself
