Flying with autopilot may be easy, but I think pilot are paid so well for challenging a possible crisis like a burning thruster. They have a big responsibility to bring everyone on board save back to the ground or at least without major injuries. I pay much respect to them because being pilot can be a very stressful job as far as I know.
