The box office for James Cameron's Avatar: The Way of Water is already off to a fantastic start. The movie made about $50M on Friday, its opening day. This indicates that it outperformed Spider-Man: No Way Home's and Avengers: Infinity War's first-day takings. However, it was still unable to topple Avengers: Endgame, which had the greatest Hollywood opening in American history.
