Review of the film "Avatar: The Way of Water"

More than a decade after director James Cameron released "Avatar" ，some expectations for a sequel have faded. For the sequel, James Cameron co-wrote the script. "Avatar 2：The Way of Water" will take the audience back to the planet of Pandora, providing the audience with Pandora's ocean, more emotional story. The sequel to Avatar 2 did well at the enriching the world and characters, but the story was too thin.

Instead of staying in the woods, Cameron took the opportunity to explore a new part of Pandora and its diverse people. This is good for the plot of Avatar 2, which turns the focus on the young Na 'vi. Colonel Miles Quaritch's threat gives the sequel a sense of deja vu without repeating it. In the sequel, the villains get better and more sympathetic. I like Colonel Miles Quaritch.The relationship between him and his son is unforgettable.

Avatar 2 introduces new characters, including Jack's children and new Na 'vi. While the new characters are enjoyable, there are so many of them that some of their personalities are marginalized. Compared to the first film, Neytiri has very little to do. She doesn't do much in this film.

Too many characters, let the story become a little thin. However, I think the whole story is more memorable than the first film. Some of the story lines are clearly set up for Avatar 3. In the movie, there is still some suspense. Which is why I believe the third movie will be better.
