Camera Tests: Morning Macros + Evaporating Frost

Maybe not the best possible weather conditions for this kind of photography. But you can still see some details quite nicely as the center of the flower is in focus and the leaves aren't completely horribly out of focus, either. It isn't very easy to get a hand-held camera to focus on a moving flower.

This is better. But is there any way to erase that white shit from the background without spending a whole day doing that?

The ground was frosty in the morning. But the sun was quite powerful and the frost evaporated quickly because of the dark ground absorbing the solar radiation effectively. It condensed rather quickly after getting off ground, the result of which you're looking at.

A wall of clouds just above the horizon is creating an illusion of a mountain range. The topmost clouds are white which makes them look like mountaintops.
