NYC Steady Rain Overnight Tomorrow Dreary Week Overall
Good morning everyone. We have a complicated forecast ahead with slow moving fronts and moisture getting hung up in the region, so let's break it all down. Overall there will be nothing extreme, but sunshine will be hard to find except maybe a little bit on Tuesday.

Tomorrow, we increase the warmth and humidity a bit, but keep the clouds in the area. We'll also have a better chance of some showers, with the steadiest precipitation holding off until overnight. We could also see a few rumbles, but no widespread severe weather. Highs tomorrow 75-80 depending on precipitation and any peeks of sun.
A couple of waves of low pressure will ride parallel to the east coast, keeping that front from fully clearing the area. This will bring some early morning showers on Tuesday, then maybe some partial clearing before the next wave rides north. Highs Tuesday in the mid to upper 60's, sunshine dependent.
Wednesday and Thursday get complicated as we wait to see if one of these waves gets cut off and lingers off of the NE coast. This will spin clouds back into the area and make for cloudy days both Wednesday and Thursday, but the real question will be if any precipitation gets kicked back into the area.
For now, we'll have the slight chance of showers on Wednesday, then maybe a better chance of rain on Thursday. Highs both days in the low to mid 60's.
Friday through Sunday also remain complicated, with a squeeze play going on between that cut-off low and a front approaching from the west. That'll help kick everything out for the following week, but the weekend is still in flux forecast-wise. Let's hold off on it until we get a better picture.
