Auto Expo 2018: Maruti Suzuki To Showcase Future S, e-Survivor Concepts, All New Swift And Next-Gen Hybrid Tech
The 2018 Auto Expo is just a few weeks away and auto manufacturers are gearing up to unveil a host of new models and concepts at the biggest auto event in the country. As the norm goes, Maruti Suzuki will be kicking off the proceedings on the February 7, 2018 and the automaker has a host of special unveils and launches planned to keep you hooked. From the new generation Maruti Suzuki Swift to the all-new Future-S concept, the automaker has lots to offer over a spread of 4200 sq. mt., and has built the pavilion around the theme of Transformotion. It will also have the largest vehicle display at the Expo with over 18 vehicles in the Arena, Nexa and Motorsport zones. Here's all you will be seeing at the Maruti Suzuki pavilion this Auto Expo:
Concept Future S
(The Future S concept will preview Maruti's future design language for compact cars)
Maruti Suzuki's star attraction this year will be the all-new Future S concept that will debut at the 2018 Auto Expo. The concept has already been teased and previews the design language of the future compact cars from the automaker and will likely preview an entry-level crossover with dimensions similar to that of the Ignis. The Concept Future S has been completely designed in-house by Maruti Suzuki and the automaker calls in a design evolution in terms of design proportions, body sculpting and stimulating fusion of bold patterns and colours.
Suzuki e-Survivor Concept

First showcased at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show, Maruti Suzuki will be bringing the Suzuki e-Survivor concept to the Indian Auto Expo next month. The model will be Maruti's first concept EV and is a design study model for a compact SUV that pays tribute to Suzuki's 4-Wheel Drive heritage. The off-roader concept also symbolises the brand's commitment to electric vehicles in the country, especially with its plans to locally manufacture lithium-ion batteries. The e-Survivor concept also brings together four-wheel drive, autonomous, connected and electric (FACE) technologies, for future mobility.
Next-Gen Suzuki Hybrid System

One of the biggest launches at the Auto Expo this year, the new generation Maruti Suzuki Swift will be launched at the biennial event. Based on a completely new HEARTECT platform and boasting of new features, the 2018 Swift is a massive improvement of its predecessor and we've already driven the car as well. The expo is when Maruti will announce prices on the all-new model along with the fuel efficiency figures. Bookings for the all-new Swift are already open while deliveries should commence soon after the expo.
