Reading steemit post and a explosion felt in my chest. Automobile accident a block from my house. Friday the 13th photography
About 2 hours ago, I was reading Steemit posts when I heard and felt an explosion. I immediately thought automobile accident.
They are frequent on downtown's one way streets. I heard more than one set of ambulance sirens, so I assume a few people sustained serious injuries.
I am always curious, so I walk down to Center Street and see the fire truck's lights.
I walk down to the Smart and Final parking lot and see the Dodge SUV in the center of the road and the black sedan up on the sidewalk.
On the curb in front of the police cruiser, is an individual in handcuffs. I hope he didn't severely injure someone because he decided to drink and drive.
I walk on this sidewalk almost every evening to get to my barista job.
The Veteran's Memorial building didn't sustain any damage, but the city will have to replace a tree.
This is the smart and final that @luvbnamome has me walk down to when she needs something to complete dinner.
I'm runridefly, and the automobile accidents are too frequent in my neighborhood.

I've experienced the jolt of a car slamming into something nearby many times. The first time was in 1973, when I was two and a half years old. I still remember it like it only just happened. I remember toddling outside to see a totaled, white, Volkswagen bug wrapped around the telephone pole in the front yard next door.
