This is truly amazing. This car powered by salt water has 920 HP, a top speed of 217.5 MPH and can run 373 miles on a fill up. Its power is generated by a process similar to a hydrogen fuel cell, the difference is that it stores the energy in salt water.

The salt water is passed through a membrane between two tanks which generates an electric charge. The charge is stored by super capacitors. The car has four electric motors which are powered by the capacitors. The salt water is carried in two 200 liter tanks, this will provide enough energy to travel about 373 miles.

The car was designed by Nanoflowcell AG. The company is currently preparing this new technology for mass production. They are planning to adapt the technology to other industries like railroad and aviation.

Sounds too good to be true?

Yes, the numbers seem unbelievable. I hope this is not another tesla.

... Im sure the Multi-billion Petro Industry is loving this - not.

Agreed, but I'm sure they have other problems that take priority right now. It appears that Saudi is being replaced by Russia and the petro dollar is waning. Thanks for reading and the comment.

About 20 years ago I seen something similar and the guy ended up getting whacked and the vehicle was never discovered. Hope these guys have body guards. Big oil will be coming.

I think I read that but I can't recall any details.
