Review: Nissan GT-R Nismo Vs Mercedes AMG GT-R: Head To Head Comparison

The GT-R name was the identity of the Nissan for a long time, and it became famous with the R32 Skyline GT-R. The car was so advanced; it gained the nickname "Godzilla," because it could destroy everything. However, currently, the GT-R Nismo is the most hardcore version of Nissan's sportiest model. On the other side, Mercedes has also come out with a hardcore version of its AMG GT sports car, calling it the GT-R. Like the Nissan, the Mercedes has a nickname, "The Beast From the Green Hell."

The Nissan's GT-R Nismo has outpaced the AMG GT R at the Nürburgring by 2 seconds. The Nissan GT-R has been on the market for a long time, but the car is still very competitive. Yet the Mercedes AMG GT R may have overtaken the Nissan as Motor Trend's favorite GTR.
