Natural disasters are a special kind of awful for families with special needs. If you know of anyone in the TX/LA area with autism who is affected by Harvey, please pass this on.
My friend Shelley over at Unlocking Autism is experienced in getting this kind of aid to families in need. She dealt with record flooding in Baton Rouge last year and as she said of the current situation, last year was just a dress rehearsal. The scale this time is even more massive.
