I spent hours writing made-up words onto paper, then researching them online to make sure they were not taken (or mean something already).

I was always impressed with the intricacy and care you showed in choosing names. That attention to detail gave an intrigue to the story from the moment the character comes onto the scene. Like a new friend, you want to spend time around them.
